Hiking, biking and relaxing on the Venet
Summertime at the summit
We say hike
Alpine summit paths or barrier-free panoramic trails for the whole family: you will find an abundance of both on the Venet and in the entire TirolWest region. Our tip: a sunrise amble from the hotel to the peak of the Glander at 2,512 metres above sea level. You’ll be back on time for breakfast.
Tobi’s adventure trail, Venet Bob summer toboggan run, TobiCarts race track, playgrounds at the summit and at the Zammer Alm, mountain bathing in the turquoise waters of the reservoir pond – the Hotel Venet Gipfelhütte is an ideal starting point for Alpine holidays with the whole family.
On the Genussberg
Welcome to Genussberg Venet, where Alpine tradition is still genuine and a matter of honour. Bike or hike to any of the 7 huts and cabins for authentic ambience and original Tirolean delicacies.
The hiking panorama in the Hotel Venet Gipfelhütte
At Kaunergrat Nature Park
Situated on the Venet mountain massif, the Hotel Venet Gipfelhütte lies on the doorstep to the Kaunergrat Nature Park, which extends along a stunning mountain ridge between the Pitztal and Kaunertal valleys. It is nature’s very own treasure trove, boasting fantastic themed paths, delightfully set playgrounds and the nature car park with multimedia exhibition.
Special: Grill ’n’ Chill evenings at the Panorama Restaurant
How about a sunset barbecue, including a 360-degree view of west Tirol’s craggy peaks? The Panorama Restaurant hosts barbecue evenings at a height of 2,212 metres in July, August and September. An overnight stay at the Hotel Venet Gipfelhütte is the perfect conclusion to a lovely evening. The cable car operates longer hours on these special evenings as well.
Special: Mountain yoga
Inhale, take in the view, exhale, arrive in the here and now. Yoga sessions are regularly organised on the panorama terrace, in the meadows around the house or, during bad weather, in the hotel’s seminar room.
